This set was designed around the visual language of traditional East Asian lacquerwork — the deep, almost black-red of cinnabar, cream the color of unglazed porcelain, and gold that reads more antique than bright. Lacquered Garden sits in that lineage without being costumed by it. The floral motifs feel hand-drawn rather than ornamental, and the overall effect is rich without being heavy.
This set of 10 handmade press-on nails comes in a matched left-and-right hand pairing in a short square shape with softly rounded corners — a shape that wears well on most nail beds and holds up to daily use. The design rotates across five nail positions: a deep burgundy base with a hand-painted lavender and gold floral, a cream base scattered with fine iridescent glitter and gold botanical line work, a deep burgundy with an all-over red glitter base and layered floral detail, a sheer cream with a red-toned painted floral and scattered micro glitter, and a cream base with gold linear botanical trailing from the sidewall. The contrast between the dark and light nails is what anchors the whole set — neither reads as background.
Each nail is painted by hand in multiple layers. The gold detailing is applied using a fine liner brush, which gives the botanicals their loose, illustrative quality rather than the hard-edged look of foil or stamping. The floral shapes on the burgundy nails are built up in tonal layers — red on red glitter — so the depth only becomes visible at close range. The lavender petals on the accent nail are painted with a dry-brush edge technique that leaves the tips slightly lighter than the center, mimicking the look of translucent porcelain. Nothing in this set is decaled or printed.
To apply, prep your natural nails by lightly buffing the surface and wiping away dust and oil. - Semi-solid glue / Quick Set Glue: Use the included remover and follow our removal instructions.
- UV stickies / UV glue: Use our solid glue remover spray. If you’re out of remover, use olive oil with the soaking method. Never forcibly rip off your nails.
